Law Chambers on Yonge (LCOY) Members must be approved by the Director of LCOY. Please complete our intake form and ensure you provide as much detail as possible about you, your business and services you are interested in. A Representative will contact you to regarding membership. After you are an approved member, you will be provided with Login details and can begin your exciting journey with LCOY.

Our rental rates vary depending on the type of Package our Members choose. Please contact us for details.

LCOY is built by lawyers, for lawyers and any individual practicing in the legal profession. 

By restricting LCOY to attorneys only, we create an environment that promotes collaboration among officemates who share the same profession and confidentiality obligations. This exclusive community provides a platform for professionals to collaborate on legal issues, share insights, and seek advice from peers who understand the unique challenges of the legal profession. Additionally, being surrounded by fellow legal professionals offers opportunities for networking and potential referrals, further enhancing professional growth and development.

LCOY considers the following individuals as Legal Professionals: Judges, Lawyers, Barristers, Solicitors, Attorneys, Accountants, Paralegals, Arbitrators, Notaries, Mediators, Trustees. 

Note: each Legal Professional must be insured and registered with the appropriate Regulatory Body. Interested parties are encouraged to complete and submit our Form. Admission and Membership is subject to the approval of the LCOY Director. 

A Virtual Office Membership uses Law Chambers on Yonge's location as a business address with the option of using the boardroom and meeting rooms to meet clients.

This membership is great for someone who is working from home and needs a professional address for their practice and a place to meet clients.

The Private Office Membership is specifically designed for professionals who need exclusive use of an office space. This membership is ideal for solo practitioners who are setting up their own practice or for law firms looking to expand their operations.

At LCOY we have multiple Rooms or Chambers you can choose from. 

Our standard membership agreement is typically annual or semi-annual, however subject to Director approval, we do make exceptions on a case-by-case basis if and when there is availability. 

A micro-website is a Member and/or Firm profile on the LCOY website, highlighting the esteemed professional Members of LCOY. It is designed to serve a specific purpose or provide targeted information to a particular audience.

At LCOY we post an individual webpage about you under "Member Directory" and your practice on our website. This includes your contact information and a link to your website for more exposure, subject to Member approval.

At present we are only located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. 

Physical presence in the office is not required for mail handling. Our receptionist is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to accept deliveries on your behalf.

Furthermore, if you have any outgoing mail, our receptionist can assist in sending it out for you.

Having a private office or virtual office with LCOY can be more cost-effective compared to finding a private office elsewhere due to several factors. When setting up an office and a law firm, there are numerous tasks and expenses involved. Apart from locating a suitable office space, you would need to arrange various essentials for running a business, including internet connectivity, printers, office furniture, decor, supplies, and personnel.

At LCOY, we have already taken care of these foundational steps to establish your practice. By providing spacious private offices, along with necessary amenities and support services, we eliminate the need for you to individually handle these tasks and expenses. This streamlined approach can result in cost savings and allow you to focus on your legal practice without the additional burden of setting up and managing an office from scratch.

Having a professional address adds credibility to your business. It is important, for both professional and safety reasons, to avoid using your home address for your business. Similarly, a post office box may not be ideal as it can imply a lack of stability and the absence of someone available to receive packages.

By opting for a Private or Virtual Office Membership package at LCOY, you gain the advantage of having a dedicated receptionist. This receptionist is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and can accept mail on your behalf. This ensures that your business mail is handled professionally and securely, providing convenience and peace of mind.

Yes, depending on your Package and availability of rooms.

Yes! We have a spacious kitchen with tea and coffee stations and select snacks.

For Private Office Memberships, we provide milk, cream, and non-dairy products, and soft drinks depending on your dietary needs.

Yes! Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm LCOY will have an on-site Receptionist.

Live Receptionist will take care of the following services:

• greeting clients when they come in,
• sending any mail on your behalf,
• receiving mail, and
• various other services.

The purpose of an office manager is to oversee and coordinate the administrative activities within LCOY, for the benefit of its Members. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and maintaining an efficient work environment. 

Our Office manager is responsible for various duties, including managing office supplies and equipment, coordinating schedules and appointments, handling correspondence, organizing meetings and events, supervising support staff, and implementing office policies and procedures.

Their primary goal is to support the overall functioning of the office and enhance productivity by effectively managing resources and facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members. Our Office Manager will be at available, should you have any queries or concerns. 

Yes! on-site complimentary Parking is available at LCOY for Private and Virtual Members and their respective Clients. 

For an additional fee,  LCOY Members can purchase a dedicated parking space in the underground garage. Members interested in this options, should speak to the LCOY Office Manager for further details.

You can begin using the address immediately after you register and make your first payment. LCOY staff will email you instructions to get you started.
